“From the first moment I stepped into his office I was extremely impressed. He had his assistant with him & she took notes on everything he said so I could concentrate on what he was saying. He is a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor & was always available to talk to me if I needed him. My GP recommended him to me & I am so grateful she did. I can’t thank him enough for the beautiful job he did during my surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful doctor to anyone.”

‘It was a experience that could have been a disaster but Dr. Kaufman had put me at ease right from the beginning with his bed side manner and my awful experience turned into a calm understanding of what he was going to do and did it. I would recommend him to anyone !!’
Fat Grafting / Lipofilling For Breast Reconstruction And Augmentation
A successful alternative to implant based breast reconstruction after mastectomy or for breast augmentation is through the transfer of fat from the abdomen or thighs into the breast to provide volume and shape, thus transforming a deflated skin envelope into a natural appearing and feeling breast.
From a historical perspective the first breast partial reconstruction was achieved in 1895 by a German surgeon, Vincenz Czerny, that utilized the patients own fat (lipoma 5cm in size harvested from the lumbar region of her back) to fill a large defect in the breast after removal of a benign tumor. The patient was a dramatic stage singer that could not afford to have asymmetry of her breasts.
Today, adipose tissue is harvested through advanced liposuction techniques and then processed for refinement before injection back into the breast through multiple smaller strategic aliquots.
The results for both breast reconstruction and augmentation are promising when used in combination with implant or flap reconstruction or at times alone as the only form of volume.
Dr. Gabriel Kaufman has had significant experience and training in the utilization of harvested adipose tissue for breast reconstruction through advanced lipo-filling sculpting techniques for breast reconstruction and augmentation developed in France.
“In my practice, women that have had long standing breast implants and want to return to their natural self can often achieve this goal by combining mastopexy after the removal of implants with lipo-filling to add volume and improve shape for the best possible results”
